The Business Process Training on Savings and Credit for ARBOs was conducted last March 18 – 20, 2021 at the Dipolog Computer Systems, Inc. Training Center in Dipolog City. This activity is one of the musts in preparation for the installation of a Credit and Savings Management System for the conduit ARBOs, the CATAMCO and the GOFAMUCO along with the program’s financing partner the Siari Valley Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multipurpose Cooperative (SVARBEMCO).
The 3-day activity enabled the coop officers to identify the loan and savings products applicable to their respective communities. This initial output shall be made basis in the formulation of their Agricultural Loan Business Improvement Plans.
Mr. Roland Handumon and Mr. Rey Salvador of the Katipunan Bank were the resource persons of the activity. The training workshop was initiated by the ZenitRam Technology and Services, the service provider of the technical assistance.
The CSMS is a by product of the Production Capitalization Fund (PCF) implementation which can be considered another relevant intervention from Project ConVERGE.
