Highly anticipated for almost three years, the Project ConVERGE Zamboanga Sibugay’s Rubber Enterprise is now on its final stage before the enterprise’s full functionality. A dialogue held paved the way for ARBOs to discuss the consolidation of their rubber products in the province.
Seven participating ARBOs from the municipality of Naga and Kabasalan were present in the dialogue with the lead ARBO Goodyear Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (GARBEMCO). Agreements and schedules of consolidation were discussed.
This activity solidifies the Salipyasin Cluster’s Rubber Enterprise, as the final link of the participating ARBOs to GARBEMCO operationalizes the whole rubber value chain. The move is also expected to provide more marketing opportunities for the rubber products.
