More than 800 households of abaca farmers will begin to experience better access and shorter travel time at lesser cost after the turn-over of the 2.9 kilometer Sitio Catubli-Timugsay Farm to Market Road (Phase 1 and 2) in Agoho, Camiguin.

The P38.7-million road is funded under the Project ConVEGE of the DAR and co-funded by the international Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Mambajao Mayor Yñigo Jesus D. Romualdo led the turn-over ceremony assisted by Cluster Project Operations Team (CPOT) leader Restituto O. Obatay and Agoho Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC) Chairman Conchita P. Cagadas.

The signing of certificate was conducted via Zoom which was participated by National Project Director Faisar A. Mambuay and Regional Project Director Merlita S. Capinpuyan.
