The Provincial Project Management Office of Surigao del Sur together with the ACDI VOCA PhilCAFE Project conducted a “Coffee Appreciation cum Access to Finance Seminar” for Progressive Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PARBEMCO) and the Ugoban Multi-purpose Cooperative (UMPC) last September 3-4, 2020 in Tagbina, Surigao del Sur.
Because of travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lectures are being done via video conferencing platform, while field exposures and workshops are conducted following strict health protocols strictly supervised by the Project ConVERGE personnel. The activity’s pool of resource speakers is composed experts from the ACDI VOCA PhilCAFE Project as earlier agreed through a Memorandum of Agreement.
The said activity is in preparation for the Production Capitalization Fund Program Implementation of Project ConVERGE in Surigao del Sur.
