Rex Yawing Sr. and Zosimo Jagape sorted the abaca fiber as refresher activity at the temporary warehouse located in Agoho Multi- Purpose Cooperative, Agoho, Mambajao, Camiguin last July 13, 2020 as preparation for a licensing examination to be conducted by PhilFIDA at Newtech Pulp inc. (NPI) in Iligan City. These two abaca farmers are from Bonbon Sagay Upland Farmers Association (BSUFA) and NAGPAKABANA Multi- Purpose Cooperative (NMPC) respectively.
Abaca fiber classifier plays an important role in abaca fiber marketing wherein fiber coming from suppliers should be bailed in different classifications before trading to NPI as one of the standard requirements of the company.
